A Climate Conversation Podcast

Welcome to our podcast in support of A Climate Conversation, a documentary that seeks to foster an honest dialogue on the subject of climate change—its causes, its impact, and a science-based cost/benefit analysis of its potential solutions.

Every day, three million people tune in to Loos Tales, a syndicated radio program heard across 19 states. Trent Toos is a passionate advocate for the American food and energy producers who quietly go about the business of keeping our country fed and warm. In addition to Loos Tales, Trent appears on multiple television, radio and podcast programs daily.

A child of the American West, Trent Loos is a sixth generation rancher who lives in Nebraska and brings much needed attention to issues of national security and energy policy, including foreign ownership of our nation’s farm land, the increasing control of national land and water resources, and the potential hazards of CO2 pipelines. Trent has said the  Heartland Greenway carbon dioxide pipeline is “the hill I will die on.”

Trent is joined by Walt Johsnon, brainchild and executive producer of A Climate Conversation. Another son of the West, Walt is a fifth generation Coloradan, and keely interested in bringing realism and the scientific method to the debate about climate. Walt is particularly interested in recent calls to eliminate nitrogen based fertilizers, which could create food insecurity for billions.

Podcast overarching theme:  “Control the land to control people.” The podcast features a wide ranging conversation with Trent Loos and Walt Johnson. Trent Loos is an advocate for American food and energy security, and is deeply concerned about the hidden agendas in energy transformation. Politics and profit pose existential threats to the American economy and way of life. Expect an engaging and entertaining hour. Topics include:

  • The impact of CO2 on agriculture and human flourishing

  • How tax policy has driven up the cost of CO2 and downstream inflation

  • The hidden agenda of profit motive behind the CO2 pipeline

  • The impact of unbanization on food production

  • Foreign ownership, including PRC, of American farmland

  • Federal and State control of natural resources

  • The potential hazards of the new CO2 pipeline

  • Issues of Eminent Domain and private property

  • How clean coal has been politicized

  • The enormous electricity demands of the CO2 pipeline

  • Have we reached “Peak Stupid?”

We hear that “97% of scientists agree about climate change,” but the real number is likely 100%, because the observational record shows that the Earth’s climate has changed virtually continuously for billions of years. How many believe that a warmer climate would lead to catastrophe, however, is a question that has either never been asked or examined under the scientific method.
